Safety
What the programs guarantee, what they can't stop, and the checks for buyers.
Some things are guaranteed by the programs and can't be changed by anyone. Others can't be prevented by any launchpad, so Stoke shows buyers what to look for.
Guaranteed on-chain
| Guarantee | How |
|---|---|
| The supply is fixed | The launch mints all 1B tokens and removes the mint authority in the same instruction. |
| Nobody can freeze holders | A launch is refused if the mint has a freeze authority. |
| The metadata can't change | Its update authority is removed when the token is created. |
| The liquidity can't be pulled | Every position belongs to the hook, which has no instruction to remove one. There is no LP token. |
| No one gets in before the curve ends | The hook refuses other liquidity, donations and pools with its hook until graduation. |
| A capped fee and platform share | No coin's fee can exceed 2.5%, and the protocol's share of a fee can never exceed 20%. Each coin keeps the terms it launched with. |
| Your signature stays yours | Hooks never receive the trader's signature, so a hook can't move your tokens. |
What no launchpad can stop
- A creator selling what they bought. Their dev buy is public, and a coin's page shows how much of it is left to sell fee-free.
- Wallets buying a second or two after launch. Block-0 snipes pay the anti-snipe tax, and the red flags show bundled buys and big dev bags.
- A price falling. Locked liquidity means the pool can't be emptied, not that the price can't drop.
- Other pools. Like Uniswap, the PoolManager lets anyone open another pool for a coin. Stoke shows and trades the coin's own pool.
Copies
A copy takes buyers from the coin it copies, which is extraction too. Before you launch, Stoke searches every Stoke launch and every live coin Jupiter indexes for the same ticker or name. Lookalike characters are folded first, so $PEP3, $PEPE and Cyrillic $РЕРЕ all read as pepe, and filler words like “official” or “coin” are dropped. Pictures are fingerprinted in your browser and compared with the art of live coins, so resized or recompressed copies still match.
A match only counts against a coin with traction: at least $10K of market cap, and at least a quarter of the newer coin's. Launching over a match is allowed, but the coin is labelled a copy on every page.
Red flags
When Jupiter indexes a coin, its page and feed card read Jupiter's token audit and flag:
- Serial dev: the creator has minted 20+ coins. Red at 50+ with fewer than 1 in 20 graduated.
- Dev bag: the creator holds 5%+ of supply. Red at 20%+.
- Concentration: the top ten wallets hold 30%+ of supply, which is what bundled launches look like. Red at 50%+.
- Copies, from the copy check.
The feed hides coins with a red flag by default and says how many it hid.
